Lucy Hope started Bespoq Commercial Solutions because she wanted to solve a problem that was starting to take shape in the banking sector. She saw the industry shifting its focus from relationship management to a clear strategy of cutting costs and maximising short term profits.
Having worked in Commercial Banking for a High Street bank for over 10 years, Lucy knew the importance and impact that Bank Managers as trusted advisors had on small businesses. They understood the business owner's plans and provided the much needed support. Unfortunately, as a result of this strategy shift, many business owners today no longer have that much needed access.
She knows everyone has different business needs, but the need for money is the same. An injection of cash at the time of need makes it happen.
Many clients come to Bespoq after being declined by their High Street bank. However, numerous UK lenders can help with deals outside the typical lending criteria. Lucy loves the challenge of finding the right lender for each client's circumstances and tailoring a lending package to fit their needs.
An expert in financing specialist properties, Lucy works with many property investors, especially those with unique needs. With specialist knowledge in the sector, she handles cases that don't
meet standard criteria. Typical clients include business owners seeking to own their premises, investors purchasing commercial and residential properties, and those needing buy-to-let loans involving multiple properties. Lucy's team also assist investors looking to let properties to housing associations or corporate organisations.

Gary Hope
Gary has over 40 years of experience in banking and finance, working in roles such as Bank Manager, Training and Development, Customer Experience, and Process Improvement & Operational Effectiveness. After retiring, he joined part-time at Bespoq in 2020.
His main focus is making sure clients have the best experience and ensuring the company meets consumer standards by overseeing changes and new projects. Outside of work, Gary enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren, going on holidays, and staying active in his local golf club.

Kristi has been part of Bespoq since 2017. She is the heart of the office, making sure everything runs smoothly. Her role goes beyond just office management and admin tasks. She brings warmth and efficiency to the workplace, creating an environment where everyone feels supported. Whether she’s coordinating meetings, keeping things organised, or simply offering a friendly chat over coffee, Kristi makes the office feel like a well-run home away from home. She’s the go-to person for making sure no detail is overlooked. Prior to joining Bespoq, she worked at a high street bank for five years.

He’s got a proven track record of helping business owners and property investors secure the right funding solutions. Neil knows the ins and outs of different industries and tailors finance packages to fit client goals. Working with him means less stress, smarter decisions, and more opportunities for growth.

Jayne brings nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, having held a variety of roles at Clydesdale & Yorkshire Bank. Her expertise spans retail, business, and private banking, with her most recent focus in compliance.
She joined the Bespoq team in March 2021 and plays a key role in supporting Neil. Her responsibilities include attending client and professional introducer meetings, as well as managing a range of day-to-day administrative tasks.
